Don't be a walk blocker

When you park your scooter or bike, please be mindful of others who may have difficulties with vision or mobility. Avoid blocking sidewalks, access ramps, doorways, and bus stops.

Obey local traffic laws

Stop at all red lights and stop signs, ride with the flow of traffic, and always yield to pedestrians. One rider per vehicle and riders must be 18+. As a rider, you have the rights and responsibilities of someone driving a car. You are just having more fun.

Safe streets

SIC riders know that safety comes first. These are the principles we teach in our Level Up safety trainings.

Follow traffic laws and street signs We advise bringing a helmet with you and wearing it while riding.
Always let pedestrians go first Park your scooter near bike racks or in designated scooter drop zones.
Ride in the bike lane when available Do not put yourself and your friends in unnecessary danger. Always ride alone!
Ride with traffic on one-way streets We advise bringing a helmet with you and wearing it while riding.

Don’t ride on pavements Do not ride on pavements, use bike lanes when possible. Give way to pedestrians.
One person per scooter Do not put yourself and your friends in unnecessary danger. Always ride alone!
Park responsibly Park your scooter near bike racks or in designated scooter drop zones.
Don’t block & clutter Avoid blocking pavements, bus stops, and cluttering scooters on bike racks.
Line it up Park your scooter next to other scooters. Always use the kickstand.

Our vehicles respond to pre-set rules depending on their location. All cities where Voi is available are classified into virtual zones with different regulations. Be sure to familiarise yourself with each one before you set off.

Some places are simply inappropriate for parking. That's why we have no-parking zones where you won't be able to end your ride.

We can build for longevity with higher quality

Low-speed zones are areas usually crowded with either cars or pedestrians. Therefore, the vehicle will automatically slow down a bit here.

No riding zone

A more sustainable service

As the name suggests, this is a no-go area for all Voi vehicles. Here, you won't be able to neither ride nor park your e-scooter or e-bike.

Voi vehicles belong within the operational zone. If you leave with one, the vehicle will come to a full stop and you won't be able to end your ride.
